The 100-Mile, 100K and 50K races started at 6:30 AM Saturday morning, January 7, at the Croom trailhead in the Withlacoochie National Forest located just west of Brooksville, Florida.  The 25K race began at 7:00 AM.

Five separate races were held – a 50K Team Relay event, a 50K, a 50-Mile, a 100K and a 100-Mile Individual event.  Nearly 600 runners were involved in the races, which began and ended at Alcoa High School in Alcoa, TN, a small town just south of Knoxville TN.  The 50K Relay and 50K Individual races began at 7:58 AM, the 100K and 100M races began at 8:03 AM, and the 50M race begans in the evening at 8:03 PM.

A total of 56 runners started the race at 7:00 AM EDT Saturday, December 17, 2016.

Final Results of the Daytona 100 Ultras Are Now Posted!

Final complete results of the second annual Daytona 100 Ultras are now posted – please click on the following links to view them.  The 100-Mile race began at 6:00 AM Saturday, December 10, 2016 on the beach in Jacksonville Florida and finished 100 miles south on the beach near Ponce Lighthouse Inlet in Daytona Beach.  The 50-Mile race began at 12:00 Noon in Palm Coast and finished at the same place as the 100-Mile race.

Final Results of the St Sebastian 100M/50M Races Are Now Posted

Final results of the inaugural St Sebastian 100-Mile and 50-Mile races are now posted here.  Just click on the following link to view them:

St Sebastian 100M/50M

Congratulations to Philip Brown, the winner of the 100-Miler in a course-record time of 26:01:53, and to Ariel Bernstein, who set the women’s course record with a time of 29:47:05.  Congratulations to Neil Wesley, who won the 50-Mile race (and set the course record) in a time of 9:28:17, and to Kayte Branch for winning the 50-Mile women’s title in 15:27:23 (women’s course record).

The course is a 10-mile loop with one aid station located about halfway, or at 5 miles.  The 100-Mile race consists of 10 full 10-mile loops, which on the results will be broken into 20 half-loops or 5 miles each.  The 50-Mile will consist of 5 full loops, and 10 half loops will be shown in the results.

The races take place Friday, November 25, 2016 and Saturday, November 26, 2016 in the St Sebastian State Preserve in Sebastian, Florida, a small resort town located along the east coast of Florida about halfway between Miami and Daytona Beach.  The course is a mix of sandy road and trail, single track, and fire roads.
