2016

The 2016 Fort Clinch Ultramarathons began at 7:00:30 AM Saturday morning, March 19, 2016.  Results shown below include lap-by-lap splits for each half-loop, so 20 half-loops adds up to 10 complete loops of the course.  The first half-loop is 4.6 miles from the Start/Finish area to the Youth Camp aid station, while the second half-loop is 5.4 miles from Youth Camp back to the Start/Finish area.

Congratulations to Men’s 100-Mile Champion Andrew Snope of Savannah GA who crushed the old course record of 17:59 set by Grant Maughn by running a 16:54:41.  Congratulations as well to Women’s 100-Mile Champion Ellen Cottom who finished fourth overall in 25:36:43.  A total of 21 runners started the 100-Mile race, and 9 finished within the 30-hour cutoff.

Congratulations to the 2016 50-Mile Men’s Champion Bren Tompkins who finished in 7 hours, 42 minutes, 34 seconds, and Sara Maltby, the Women’s Champion in a course-record time of 7:47:22, knocking more than an hour off the old course record.  Fifty out of 61 starters finished within the 15-hour cutoff.

2015

Complete results of the 2015 Fort Clinch Ultramarathons are posted below – the races began at 7:02 AM Saturday morning, March 28, 2015.  The 100-Mile race finished 30 hours later, the 50-Mile race 15 hours after it started.  Results shown include lap-by-lap split times for each half-loop, so 20 half-loops adds up to 10 complete loops of the course.  Runners ran 4.6 miles from the Start/Finish area to the Youth Camp aid station, then ran 5.4 miles back to the Start/Finish area to complete the 10-mile loop.
